The Hair Spot opened its doors in May of 1984, and we've been part of the Ann Arbor community ever since. Founded by Tom Cederna, a third-generation barber whose family has called Ann Arbor home since 1934, this shop was built on a simple idea: give people a quality haircut at a fair price, and treat every customer like a neighbor.Over the years, hairstyles have come and gone, but our commitment hasn't changed. We still use professional barber techniques to deliver precision cuts tailored to you. We still remember your name. And the kids who used to sit on boards for their first haircuts? Some of them bring their own kids in now.Beyond the chair, we're proud to give back to the community that's supported us for over 40 years. From Motor Meals of Ann Arbor to the Civitan Club, Veterans Affairs, and local fundraisers throughout the year, giving back is just part of who we are.Long, short, crew, or something new.
